Electrical bluetooth kit vs using tomtom's handsfree
bluetooth kit vs using tomtom's handsfree
just got a 05 mcs. our 02 did not have the bluetooth option but I think the 05 does. It has the three spoke multi function wheel with 'r/t' and phone buttons. Do i nee to purchase an additional blueetooth kit to start using my phone? I also have a tomtom 910. can anyone comment on the quality differences between using the integrated bluetooth kit vs the tomtom's bluetooth.
Cheers

I have never used a tom tom bluetooth but I can recommend our plug & play parrot bluetooth kit for mfsw. It works very well (have one in my cooper S) & we have an offer on for NAM members right now

As I understand it, merely because you have buttons that say "phone" does not guarantee that your MINI has the bluetooth option. I think the bluetooth option only has a small list of phones that work with it and requires an armrest/cradle. However, I may be wrong on that.

I chatted with Ian last fall after getting my 06 DS MCS.
I have been waiting for my son to get a new car, he was driving my hand my down after my MCS came in. I was finally able to pull my Parrot 3200 from my old car.
Does the Parrot kit have the option to use the MFSW or is it an either or situation? I would love to keep the integration and display of my 3200 but having the MFSW buttons usable would be nice also. Thanks in advance.
