Looking for a nice, local Saturday afternoon get-together -- or perhaps a welcome chance to tidy up that MINI with your mates?

Join us for an EIM Ice Cream and Detailing Day on Saturday, July 20th. Here's the itinerary:

1:00 pm - Meet up at Dane's Dairy in Iowa City

~1:45 pm - Depart for a short, scenic country drive (via Sharon Center, Bayertown, and Oakcrest Hill Roads) with our destination being just east of Riverside

2:45 pm - Arrive at the Riverside Auto Spa (owned and operated by fellow EIMer and MINI enthusiast bsteig) for some washing, shining, primping, and socializing

~4:45 pm - Depart for the short (5 min) drive to the Riverside Casino; upon arrival, park our sparkling MINIs in a most conspicuous location

5:00 pm - Dinner together at Robert's Buffet in the Casino

What to bring:
- All of your favorite wash and detailing goodies
- GMRS/FRS radios (if you have 'em)
- Camera
- A few bucks for ice cream and $16.99 for the Saturday buffet

It will probably be early next week before I can get around to posting my pics from today, but I wanted to send a shout out to Bill again for hosting us today at the car wash and providing us with the nice goodie bags.
