autocrossing

Well I was looking more for what to expect....understeer,oversteer? Tire pressures? Are you going faster with or without traction control? Full tank of gas or empty? Things of that nature.I've autocrossed a few times but never a FWD car,any tips would be helpful thanks!

1. understeer - so don't try and make time with late braking, adjust your speed and let the car turn
2. enough pressure so that chalked sidewalls tell you the tires are not rolling too much - minimum 38 to start
3. all traction control OFF
4. one quarter tank, but don't fret it doesn't matter much
5. don't get in the habit of spinning the inside tire on corner exit - if that unweighted tires spins too much it is slow and wears the tire out...

The car's strength is narrowness and agility.

Cheers,

Charlie
