EIM at the 2010 HPMS R4TO

According to the HPMS website...this is a "dry" county. But the hotel bar will serve alcohol . I'm sure things could get pricy after an hour or so.
Is anyone up for BYOB and entertaining in their hotel room?
Does anybody play cards? I'm a good Euchre player. But I've heard that people west of the Mississippi don't know how to play the game. (seriously I heard that and on occasion found it to be true..honest injun).
I'll be frank..I like to party and you'll never see me with a lampshade on my head. (note to self: bring ibuprofin).

Give me a couple of hands and I can hold my own at Euchre.
I fall flat in the party hardy grade. I tend to not last too late into the evening on these MINI trips. I think it has something to do with my being up and about and typically first in line at the local car wash every day at the first detectable rays of daylight.

Okay... so there will by partying, card playing, crawdad eating, MINI motoring, laughs with friends, exploring the countryside, and just all around fun! I don't know if it can be arranged, but is anyone interested in a show in Branson? I've never been there, and this might be a good opportunity, especially if anyone else is interested.

We need to drop our son off at school at 8:00am and it will take us 1.5hrs to get to Ainsworth according to mapquest.
You know i'll drive AFAP to the meet spot.
I hate to have people waiting on me or being late but 8:00 is the soonest we can drop off our son. It's your decisions...if we have to play Ketchup then I guess your the Mustard.

By my (Mapquest) calculations and not taking in account Gary's route...Leaving Ainsworth @ 9:30 it's 7hrs to Harrison putting us there around 4:30 (nonstop).
I checked & cocktails start at 5pm. Besides, it's never too late nor too early for cocktails.
I also figure that if everyone is waiting on me I could call just before getting to Ainsworth and meet you all on the highway...unless I need to use the bathroom. Sound like a better plan?
Will we be using 2 way radios? If so I could pick up a pair.

Changing to a planned 9:30 am departure from the BP is no big deal. I doubt we'd all be ready to leave exactly at the crack of 9 anyway. Folks coming from a distance (e.g., Linda and Tom) are going to want to get out and stretch/pee anyway. Heck, I'm coming from 7 miles away and I might want a break too.
Mapquest times tend to be conservative so I suspect it won't take Jo as long as he thinks to get to Ainsworth. We can plan to leave NLT 9:30 sharp come hell or high water, and if he's running late we'll just stay in communications via cell phone until we rendezvous later along the way (I'll circulate the numbers I have via email to make sure they're all valid).
I'm still expecting we'll get to Harrison between 5 and 6, accommodating a lunch stop and a gas/necessities stop (assuming no traffic or construction surprises along the way).
It's always a good idea--but not a necessity--to take along GMRS/FRS radios if you have them. They will certainly come in handy in communicating with the larger group down in Arkansas.

(You guys are up-and-at-'em early this morning )
Another thing we might want to thing about doing is having a little GTG Thursday evening at the hotel -- pull out a road map and plot our motoring strategy for Friday.
I've been trying to do a little pre-planning but the number of route possibilities is almost endless so it makes my head spin. Right now I'm just trying to help identify the "can't miss" roads so we can collectively consider them in the mix.
Do you always eat popcorn for breakfast?
