R56MINICooper emailed with a head-up that he had successfully transitioned the EIM Website over to its new host server. Man, it seems to load like lightning now.

You will notice at this interim state the absence of some content (e.g., gallery pics, thumbnails, widgets, etc.). These items will reappear as part of the process of bringing the new server fully online. We seek your patience and understanding during this upgrade. Thanks!

 

Well it does not look great for all the galleries coming back. We have all the photos still it seems but it looks like I need to recreate all of them in order for them to show up, they will have all new gallery ids and such so it will take a while to get this all set again. Plus it's taking me a lot longer to get things moved over to the new server due to another client having issues with a website I designed for them. Well more political issues than technical but in any case, hopefully we can get back up and running at some point here!

 

Sure is nice to have the EIM Website back up and fully operational!

 

any thoughts to an earlier idea of mine about a photo book showing MINI name and driver(s). so new motorists or current ones can get to know eveyone?

 

I think this has merit. Let's plan on discussing it on 1/23 in IC.
