Tracking those Eastern Iowa MINI Mods
There is a guy on LXM selling them. He can make any design you want. I can post the link. Maybe if enough people want them they can package deal them and save a few bucks on shipping.
Tarret sway bar adjusted
Kind of a mod, finally found some time to play with the tarret , tightened it up some. Should have monkeyed with it sooner

talk about a go Kart Btw moving the link end towards the tube makes the car stiffer
don't have any of that but it grips out of turns better, with an added amount of twitchiness, you gotta hold on tight!
Done.
...but I have to admit it would have been a lot easier with the MINI on a lift, rather than laying on my back with the car on jack stands.
You set a pretty tough standard when it comes to mod quality and frequency. I'm afraid I'll be crying "uncle" before too long...
Not much room under there for good pics. It was pretty tight doing this on jack stands.
My install looks almost identical to the one on this other IL Roadster:

The only real difference is that I used four additional stainless steel fasteners to connect the rear edge of the side panels to the front edge slot on the rear diffuser (rather than use no fasteners, as shown here). Just seemed like the right thing to do.
If previous reports are true, I should start seeing an incremental increase in gas mileage and a slightly quieter cabin with the top up.

Here is a pile of stuff that has taken me 4 weeks to fully complete. I've yet to get an alignment done, but overall its pretty much done.

I've yet to get good pics with everything installed. That'll come soon. As soon as the weather cooperates.

Oh yes. The center of gravity was decreased
Some P.I.A.
bushings were also changed. But very happy I got it done
. And I finally got my AeroII kit installed!
Its like a totally different car! Very happy with everything, and I'm sure I'll be even more happy when the alignment is done, I can tell with all the messing around I did, its a bit out.

Laser cut plexiglass with a rubber seam at the bottom. Greatly reduces the reverse draft on the back of the neck and outer shoulder during open road top-down motoring.
