Power cutoff on cig plug

Hello, I just got a 2022 Cooper SE, (completely loving it btw). I brought over my Blackvue dashcam from my previous car and wanted to check whether the cigarette plug turns off with the car. I may have the dashcam wired into the fuse box in the future, but for now, I am using the cig plug. Does anyone know if this gets turned off when the car is off? I don't want to drain any battery when it's parked. Thanks in advance.

I'd be really surprised if it DIDN'T turn off with the car. Almost all new cars have the power socket only turn on with the ignition, and they don't even turn on with just the "ACC" key position.

On my 2017 it stays on for a few minutes after shutting off the car
