Milltek Installed

after being too busy for 3 months, i finally installed my cat-back, Milltek exhaust system last night.

also 9 months ago i had purchased a Milltek from a NE supplier on a group buy. it arrived (left by shipper) in a box that was almost completely destroyed. upon inspection, i discovered scratches and dings and then began a 3 month ordeal to return it for credit. i reordered from a different supplier and the box arrived in pristine condition. upon opening it i discovered that the former supplier sold me a system that had previously been returned and that explained the condition of the box. further many parts were also missing from the original order. hats off to Stratmosphere as they did a great job with the new order. i will not mention the questionable supplier also from the NE.

the Milltek was easy enough to install. it fit perfectly. i used several washers to space the rear hangers away from the chassis so that the tips would have some additional clearance from the rear valance. alignment was flawless, so far.

sound wise it is slightly louder. no drone.

i am glad i installed it and the larger tips look so more more agressive.

I went whole hog & got the full Milltek header & cat-back on my '03 MCS. Fit like a glove, looked good, sounded great. Loved it so much, I had it transferred to my '05 MCS before I took delivery.

Drop those rear seats and really get on it....then you'll hear that system flow.
