I have a problem with refilling the Automatic gearbox on my Cooper S 2005. The gearoil has been removed and now I can´t find out where/how to fill it in again. Is the differentiale ang gearbox using the same oil. Have anyone some paper that show how to do, I will be very glad if you will mail them to me.

 

Bentley manual I have is to 2004, and gives the CVT.
On that the fill plug is on the side of the trany like the manual.

Caution to anyone else doing a drain and fill,
ALWAYS pull the fill plug first. I have seen this on many cars where the drain, oil or trany oil, was done and the fill can not be done.

 

Is it possible that you can scan it to me, because I can´t get any help in Denmark, because there are no Cooper S with automatic gearbox. My mailadress is ib@p-soerensen.dk . I can´t find any refill plug in my gearbox, only a overflowpipe in the bottom.

 

Sorry, I don't have a scanner.
However, I was able to find the fill plug on my manual just looking for the same style plug for the filler. It looks like it could be similar for the auto.

 

A manual gearbox and a automatic gearbox are not the same, so I can´t use a manual as descprition, sorry. Can anyone else help me with some photos or ideas how to refill such a aut-gearbox.
