Would be nice to have a little network of likeminded owners here in VA. Maybe we could all go autocrossing sometime. JR

There are a bunch of VA owners who have modded their MINIs in some form or another. A bunch of MDers too. What part of VA are you in?

For autocross try this club Virginia Motor Sports Club. DC and Hampton Roads (Norfolk, Va Beach, et al) have SCCA Regions. In addition TSCC has events in Va Beach.

I'm in Richmond and am familiar with VMSC. Not a member anymore, but have done a couple of autocrosses with my MINI. Lately, most of the events are in Dinwiddie (VA Motorsports Park), but they also have them at Cloverleaf Mall on occasion. Wouldn't mind road tripping down to Tidewater for a TSCC event with some fellow motorers sometime. If anyone gets an idea as to how we could get together, post a new thread here. I know there's a mid-atlantic forum, but my guess is that people modding their cars spend most of their time here. Thanks. JR

A group autocross effort would be a good idea. Hopefully in the Washington DC area.

I've got Team Dynamics Pro Racing wheels and Toyo Proxes T1S on each corner, plus a BMP intake. Not alot, but the wheel.tire combo should be killer in an autocross.
