The "BBR" Mini!!

Anyone heard or seen the "BBR" mini with 275 BHP? Here is a clip I found on youtube that was produced in an English TV show:

And here is what I found about the car, pretty interesting:

The eventual Mods needed to get to 275 bhp:

This should be posted in 1st Gen, right?

That is a super sleeper! I wonder how much it costs, probably the same as buying another MINI, lol!

BBR doesn't answer emails and their voice mail is not able to accept messages. Been this way for months now. My guess is they're out of business.

Yeah, thats my favorite Top Gear/MINI vid on youtube. Darn thing makes me giddy! Followed by First Gears review and drive of the R56.

Interesting to see what they (and other tuners) will do with the new turbo.

On MINI 2 there was however, a post last week about one of the members blowing up his Hartge... a good reminder about the risks of tuning. Keep that warranty. Go Works or Dinan for major engine mods IMO.

Keep it in perspective msh441! There have been several handfuls of bone stock R53's here on NAM that have blown up their engines. The tune is only as good as the weakest link...and when your engine was built with bad parts....well, bad things happen that isn't necessarily a product of the tune. This is ignoring all the twincharged cars that have detonated madly from not pulling ignition timing, lol.
