How could they fit the shiftlight up there?
As far as I know, it won't fit without any heavy modification.
It looks cool though.

So you are just removing the light and putting it on the stock R53 column cover when you get the lights for the R53 from Alta?

Tried to shed a little more light on it toward the end, I'll have to get a decent photo after the suncomes up.

No it doesn't dim, which with that one green so brigth at night is taking some getting used to but isnt as horrific as it was ashort while ago. I dont mind the brightness with the rest as the only light up for a brief period of time, I'm starting to think a paritally tinted piece of lexan or plastic with a dark center bias may be helpful.
Here are some more photos forthose that asked.
^^^The only angle you can see the wire from, I often foget about it, and will likely paint it black so it blends perfectly
I have the redline set to 6500 RPM so I can look ahead max it let it flas thenn shift and not hit the limiter while still getting the most out of the engine.

I was followed by VA trooper couple of times. They might have thought that my JCW was a radar detector.

Sweet techno-gadgetry gauges! Those GTech's are ecstasy-inducing!
That's more for the Honda users. We like DIY's, but not those kinds. ;P
edit: I've noticed that a lot of people's MINIs have a digital display for speed. I don't have that. =( What's the deal?
And I'm thinking the JCW would be everyone's best bet. Noticeably annoying and ya can't miss it. Now... to get it into my R53...

BTW, where's that guide for how to get the R56 one onto the R53 steering column?
edit: Nevermind. Didn't realize that you'd actually done it, Adam. =)
