Drivetrain M7 AGS v3 install instructions???
My guess would be the cost of Mfg vs the number of units one could sell didn't make it cost effective.
OK, I helped ChocolateAZ install his AGS V2 this past weekend and I'm about to start the hunt for a used AGS. I'm curious about the main differences other material between the AGS V2 and V3?
Do they sound the same?
Anyone selling?

The sound would be similar as what you are really hearing is the supercharger . The tube is so much shorter and of a larger diameter that the sound really excapes much more easily. I have had v1.2 and 3 and the sound was about the same.

We (CMS) are about to have the prototype V4 produced. If all goes well on my car, we will be producing 30 units. We will also have a couple of V3 units for sale when the project is complete.Steve
Hmmm, what are the differences in your AGS and the M7 AGS? Is there another thread somewhere I can get smart about your project?

AGS Instructions...
...it's probably a little late, but these seem like a pretty hot item:

Just picked up a V1 and am itching like a leper to get it installed. Enjoy.

The AGS was garbage, there were so many issues with the darn thing that unless one made a bunch of mods to the mod then it was forever failing. Why do you think it went through 3 iterations and then was taken off the market.
Custom Mini Shop is trying to revive it and in doing so they are addressing the issues the V3 had. I wish them the best of luck and hope it all goes well and they iron out the issues before releasing it.

I've heard there was alot of problems with the system, but it just makes sense to widen the throat of the intake to the s/c. I can barely get two fingers inside of the pipe. There are all these concerns of making sure the car can breath by upgrading the head, intake, and exhaust, i hope someone can figure a way to make this work properly.
just for comparison sake.... and I did this for a reason
my 2.0L stroker runs the stock air box, had the stock air filter, stock throttle body and tube, stock pulley and the car made 255whp and 210ft lbs of torque...... still think those parts are major restrictions?

The AGS v.3 has a clearance issue

What is the clearence problem that causes that?
probably a couple hp
these aren't popular opinions as it takes easy money out of vendors hands
what I am trying to say is .... save your money for the parts that give you the best hp increase for dollars spent.
the main parts are:
pulley
head
header
injectors
tune........ these will get you 230-250whp if done right
the clearance issue is between the radiator fan motor housing which is a steel shell of some sort and the AGS tube. The AGS tube was hovering right over the housing and the predictable torque rock of the motor under load and all kept causing the two bump faces and over acouple thousand miles created the hole and in turn cause a pretty serious vacuum leak and caused my car to over heat in 20* temps
probably a couple hp

MINI's are lighter cars, similar or more whp [than heavier bmw's, etc] (after mods) and yet no one talks about acceleration. even the videos i've seen of some of these well modified cars on the track -although they hang with the likes of a P993 or 3series bmw, they don't seem to have the "uuummmpphhhh!" to pull away from them in the straights.
so what am i missing? for example - if my mcs were to put out 220 whp vs a friend's 07 audi TT with 235 hp at the crank (again, heavier car that run's 0-60 in low 5s range) - shouldn't the mcs pull off the line and all the way thru the gears?
Seaerch on "SFJAMES2"
he did the first heat gun treatment to the stock part to remove some of the dent with a broom handle... Cheap mod for sure... Don't know if there is any power gain.

here's something i'm trying to figure out - my prev 330 ci zhp had 240hp at the crank - way heavier car than the MCS, but was a 5s 0-60 car. Now, before we start arguing about these cars, bmw's, porsches aren't straight line cars and yada yada, it doesn't matter about quick off the line, it's the twisty stuff (I agree completely) - but here's where I'm confused:
