I am thinking of getting the Typhoon intake done on my Cooper over at Helix motorsport. Anyone know if this intake is any good? How does it compare to the pipercross?

i'm more interested in the green twister intake!
the pipercross and typhoon are not a cold air intakes like the twister and viper.
c'mon ant, use the search!

I did use the search, no one really goes in depth on this in the topics that came up.

I installed mine today. It took about an hour (because I failed to bring all the tools out to the garage).

The first thing I noticed was the huge increase in supercharger whine - particularly noticable in 2nd and 3rd gears. Does it make more HP? Probably, but in all honesty, it's a small amount.

I like it for the look (got the polished one) and the great sound.
