I need to install this in the DC area - please help

I need to install the Milltek exhaust in the DC area. On the Milltek site, they show no dealer close to me. Can anyone help? How do I do this?

Thanks!

The exhaust is completely bolt-on. Even the least competent mechanic can install it for you. Or, check the regional section of this forum, and ask for help from local members. I'm sure they'll ask for nothing other than a cold beer when they're done!

I like the wide single-tip look but without the slats in it. It makes it look nice and solid.

LOL, that was my 1st post on this forum (a legit question I might add) yet this is how other forum members treat each other? I guess people are nicer on the M3forum, e46fanatics & clublexus forums.

What the heck does buying a Lexus IS-F vs. a BMW M3 has to do w/this? FYI, I bought an e46 M3 before the FJ Cruiser & sc430 (the woman's car to be replaced by the Mini). Those were my 1st Toyota & Lexus ever. So next time before you mouth off & attack/insult random people, you might want to get your facts straight.

I only re-brought it up b/c I did a search & didn't find the answer.

OT: I had the smg2 tranny on the e46 M3 & loved it (yes, I can drive a stick lol). If I get the e92 M3 then I'm going w/the dual-clutch tranny whenever that comes out, rumored to be at the U.S. launch.

sure it was a legit question... i didn't make fun of you for that... nor did i make fun of you...

i meerly suggested the Lexus becuase you have owned so many of those products that you will likely find it a better fit.

If i had meant my post to MOUTH OFF and be an attack you would have alot more battle scars... heck.. you would probably be loosing sleep over it. No I dont need to go around "insulting" people. i just gave you a suggestion

Don't worry everyone else here is nice... just about everyone in the NAM community has to be handled with kiddy gloves... ohh... and here is a tip... there are a few vendors you must fall in love with in order to stay liked in the MINI community.

since suggesting that i was insulting you by saying that you should be purchasing the lexus... you should probably buy the M3...

LOL, I'm sure anyone that read your original comments towards me (including this 2nd post from you) would think it was an attack/insult but whatever. I didn't provoke you in any way, shape or form. Anything I say, you'll probably have a negative comment towards me. No need to waste my time w/you anymore...

Why can't Milltek do a stock run before they fitted their exhaust system?

For god's sake, they can't have possibly forgotten to do that, they sell exhaust systems!

Even Alta has mentioned in their website that Milltek's 27hp claim is bogus.

So even all this time, can't just Milltek put some truth into their claims and so a before and after dyno run?

I'm done waiting on Milltek.
How reputable can a manufacturer be if they only post dyno charts AFTER they install the part. Then claim the product made 27hp comparing it to the numbers on a brochure. What makes it worse is that most MCS are making more than what is stated in the brochure.

So the Milltek doesn't really release more power?

And get this, i e-mailed Milltek directly regarding their exhaust system from the R56, they didn't even bother to reply.

Milltek actually did dyno pulls before and after at Thorney Motorsport http://www.thorneymotorsport.co.uk/ for development purposes.

As far as the single tip, the tooling cost was too high versus the predicted sales volume for the piece. If you have questions about Milltek, just pop them to me since I'm the importer for North America. -Pete, Stratmosphere. 1.866.533.1777
