Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge or numbers on the new Mini Mania intake for the S.

seems to be very similar to the Madness intake with fully sealed heat shield and all.

We have the new one installed on our MC S. It is exactly as pictured and described in your link. I don't have any before/after numbers. The intake noise level didn't increase very much. Its a nice unit for a reasonable price. It is the only optional intake unit approved for the new BMW CCA SPEC MINI racing class, not implying that means anything.

It would be hard to sort performance out as we changed the exhaust at the same time and the break in period was ending. The car runs stronger now, probably a combination of all of those factors.
