Thanks for the update SpiderX!! And yes the thread did seem like it was starting to continuing on and on without a lot substance. I do look forward to your updates everyday (with or without some coffee in the morning). The narrative of just what is going on with the car is interesting too.
Thanks...

Either that or Dave is not as smart as you thought he was....

I really admire the way you encourage people to get to know the MINI... there's nothing like a good 14 hour session of trial and error to get something right.

I'm sure everything will be fine in the end.

I will thanks...... the M7 car is starting out at 224... it has rev limit of 8K and God knows what else....

225 with that tq number is a pretty nice driving car....

if I can drop about 150lb I can get to my goal of 10:1

Like i said in another thread...

call it a hunch... but something tells me something or somethings are definetly broken... and that is what is causing the deafening silence.

My crystal ball is telling me that the motor is gone to a much better place... like a maching shop...

Please dont take these as insults... im just trying to make light of a situation and bring some sort of life back to this thread

Hope all is well guys!

Like I mentioned. Pick up the phone and see if Peter has an explaination. It has to be better than posting your doubts here.

explination for what? What is there to explain... first we heard that the car ran fantastic... then it was that they ran out of injector... and now we have no updates for 3 weeks on the M7 car...

Fer crying out loud. This dog won't bark. Everybody knows it. No amount of phone calls will bring it back to life.

Why would Isellem need to call Peter? Maybe Peter should come onto this thread and tell the truth to everyone who ordered their kit. I am sure they would like to know.

You folks

have obviously not spent a lot of time in product development. If you've put money down, make your own calls. If you haven't, shut up or do it yourself.

I honestly don't know what's up or what the plans are, but please, take a moment to use all your razor sharp obserational skills and look back at your own adventerous projects into the unkown. Ever run into unexpected challenges or results? Ever need a mid-course adjustment? Something to think about.

It's just all the BS comments about "you SAID this and DID this" when the commenter haven't paid, nor activly contributed to development, that has led me to keep much more quite about my plans.

Bob took the time to open the door to a rather complex development project, and all he's hearing now is "Is it soup yet?"

Back seat driving always sucks, even when it's not in a car.

I know it sucks to have to wait, and to want information that will help understand how much benefit or whatever is to be had, but most of the questions are like asking "what's the meal taste like" when it's only half way cooked.

OK, I haven't heard about a bunch of your personal lives in a while, so I'll guess that since you all have time to spend here crapping on others work that you all have failed relationships, no jobs and too much time on your hands..... I'll admit my logic is flawed. What about you all?

Matt

So we are only allowed to question BS statements if we paid? Is that a new marketing scheme? OK, so were do I send my 2¢?

I think you are missing the point here. Everyone knows (or should) that developing a new product is a biatch. Thus most companies will not come out crowing like a rooster only to lay an egg later. I know Microsoft does it a lot, but they have a monopoly. So the case here is that the grandiose, boasting statement by M7 should have been reserved until they had something to offer. Or made in private via a mailing list to the people who have so eagerly paid.

But than again, maybe my logic is flawed?
