Other than Supertrapp, what exhaust for GS?

I know the Supertrap is the "hot" set up for G-Stock but don't think I want to live w/ the exhaust sticking out from the bumper, ending under the middle of the car or even a side exit.

Want: Mellow tone and decent HP gain... I've listened to the clips in the main thread here but some sound tinny to me--tough to reproduce I know.

Perfect sound for me is my bud's old '99 Miata w/RB headers/mid pipe and FM duals...sweet music!

BTW, Love the "burble" in my new MCS but believe it's not the exhaust...sounds a lot like my Miata when it's running too rich--slight backfire when I close the throttle...methinks that's what that sound is that Mini "engineered" into the exhaust.

OK w/me since running rich means I can turn up teh boost a bit w/ a a little safety margin!

Any of the cat-back options are fine for GS, so.. Just try to hear a few in person. (Personally I'd say Milltek all the way. Def. not tinny sounding)

One-ball is cheap and pretty much the same as stock, only a bit louder / more burbly. Tinny-sounding when cold, fine when warmed up. *shrug*

And yeah, the newer years have been engineered to burble more. Silly, but quite nice sounding!
