Shoe's engine dampener for early cars????

I just emailed Shoe for info on purchasing one of these for the early models with brackets.

Has anybody tested one of these for early models yet????

Is the performance as impressive as the ones mounted on the later cars? I am questioning this due to the difference in mounting location. (Directly to the block and frame vs. bolts, brackets, motor mount, etc). In theory it does not seem that it would be as effective. I am really looking forward to this mod, and just want to make sure I will not be disappointed. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this mod.... but I am just realizing that all the rave is from people with the later style setup...

DO TELL....????

If this does work as well on early models....I want mine yesterday!!!!

Thanks, Jasun

Link?

EDIT: Are we talking about the LOTF damper, or those sold by Texas Speedwerks, or other?

EDIT II: Nevermind... I see that LOTF goes by sales@shoe-in.net

I'm also wondering how well they work on early cars. How much torque load does the damper actually have to take? It's mounted to the body with one bolt so that begs the question can the mounting location take that torque without bending?

On an older car I still think you're better off doing the Powerflex bushings.
Minimizing engine movement from just one side of the motor makes little sense to me.
