I'm pretty sure the hose is the same for all intakes since they are all meant to fit the same TB/opening. People use the Alta hose on the JCW intake.

Put me down for one, I was trying to fabricate one out of aluminum tubing but its starting to become a pain in the rear.

black would be nice as an option, though I could deal with red as well

Once I hear the price I'll make the decision. But mark me down as a maybe.

Count me in for the second tube, going from the front duct to the bottom front of the air box, without the resonators, etc.

thanks,

You can count me in as interested, would wait for the price to pull the trigger. This is for the lower one only.

Thanks!

I might be in for the lower hose. Depends on price.
Do you have any pics of the lower hose?
Want to see the design w/o resonator.

I have the Alta hose with the JCW Air box
The Air box sits a little higher than the stock box. So that made the Alta hose a tad to short, it kept slipping off the T/B. So i got an adapter piece, to remedy the problem...

So from my point of view they are not the same...

Sorry, I was asking about the dirty-side hose. I already have the Sparco intake->TB hose, but wasn't sure about the inbound hose.

I'm assuming there will be some sort of coupler to go with the hose since the OEM one "plugs into" the intake. The part I was concern about was if the coupler would be compatible with the JCW CAI.

For those asking me for pics... I just barely approached Samco about making this hose and from what it looks like, I got the 20 people that I needed intrested. However, for those with the JCW I need to know if it's the same or not because I don't want someone to be left with a piece they cannot use, yenno?

Let me know what colors you guys want anyway, I'll just start to compile this information... I wonder how I'm gonna get this all together because I'm not doing this from a Megan Racing standpoint.. I'm doin this from.. that guy who works at Megan standpoint.

I'll contact SAMCO today and let them know that we have the 20 intrested people.. but it depends on price mainly.

Can you guys check my list on the first post and tell me if there are any discrepancies?

And confirm color as well.

Put me down for blue.

There shouldn't be any issues with the JCW CAI. I just checked the routing of the hoses, and it looks like any CAI that leaves the bottom piece of the OEM airbox in place should be fine.

Any one else have this problem of the Alta or Samco hose slipping off the T/B when using the JCW airbox? Thanks Steve

I need to be taken off the list. I had a "snow day" from work yesterday and since I was stuck in the house I worked on my aluminum snorkle and i was able to finish it. That stinks too because I am a big fan of the Samco hose. I already have the one from the airbox the the throtle. I'm glad to see that there are already more than 20 people interested. I just wish that this part came out earlier.
