Randy,
Have you tested the NRP exhaust for the MCS? I have one and I am curious if you completed your testing on that system. I have been trying to get numbers from the manufacturer but it the progress has been slow.

Thanks in advanced,
Carl

I have been waiting for the system to get here - it seems like we are having some of the same issues with the manufacturer .

I'll let you know. I do have an update on the UUC as well - it will be yet another 2 weeks I've been told before the system will be here. UUC is in the middle of a gazillion projects, so any step back results in a pretty larger delay on the exhaust system (I feel their pain, so don't blame them!).

These are the systems I am currently waiting on for evaluation:

Stebro
UUC
NRP

Hope that helps!

Randy

Thanks Randy.

Other Questions: Which Cold Air Intake did you say you recommended? That is on my list to update next.

Exhaust: What torque setting did you use on the clamps for you exhaust system. I think I torqued mine to 16 FT/inch pounds. I am not sure which one I used.

I'm sure it was 16 ft/lbs. The torque really depends on the type of clamps you have. Anywhere from 10 ft/lbs to 40 ft/lbs.

The cold air intake is a good question. There are pros and cons for each out there, so it really depends on what you want. If you want the most power, the Madness is the way to go (for now). If you would like to use a stress brace without modifications, you should get the BMP and the associated stress brace. If you live in the Sahara desert or other such dirty climate, the Pipercross may be for you.

In short, all around, I like the Madness. There are reasons for the others to be chosen too though.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss all of the ones out there - BMP, K&N, Madness, Pipercross, Monster, or drop-in panel filters.
