Getting a MCS to a 14 flat? (1/4 time)

I currently own a Cobalt SS supercharged and I love my dad's '03 MCS. We are talking about trading cars and I want to know how much money I would have to spend to get his 03 6 Speed MCS near a low 14. I searched around but couldn't find a definite answer. (performance packages)

Thanks!

Well I cant answer your question. But about 6 grand will get you twincharged and about 300hp.

Probably would need to go turboed, but I haven't really done any research on it. A good set of slicks wouldn't hurt either.

There is no need for a twincharge to get to low 14's.

You can see what others in the 14 sec range have on their cars. I'm a not so good drag racer...and I've been in the mid-high 14's in my car.

Twincharge is deffinately not required to get into the 14's. However if you want easy 12's well... There you go...

on and 03 running the 15% , removing rear seat, good tires (smaller than stock) and some practice will get you 14 sec. The 03's tall first gear is what kills it in Drag racing.

The times you see on Andy's Database for me is very old and with Stock Run Flats. It was during the Time I ran the Battle of the Imports down in Richmond, VA. They were Timed Elimination runs. I would run 1, 2 and 3rd gears only smacking off the rev-limiter by the 1000 ft mark. Hope this helps some.
