Hello,

Maybe a bearing going bad?
I have installed a few of these, both on street and race cars,

Hi Victor,

Should I install one of these or just go with a stock replacement for occasional track use ?

Is that the overseas unit from Garrett ? Not sure on the name or spelling ?

Hello Phil,

I think this is a great addition to any car with an aftermarket pulley,

We have done many cars where we replaced both the idler pulley and the tensioner pulley with the GTT pulleys.

Better bearings and better quality pulleys, for piece of mind.

I had the same noise from my S/C. It ended up being the shaft on the front nose of the S/C being bad due to the pulley not being installed correctly. The issue was not a bad pulley.

Hey Phil, when you go back tell Curt I said hi! This is Cody, I used to work there (hence where I met you at, if you remember that is...)

Thanks!

I had the same exact thing about a month ago. Bushing on the tensioner disintegrated. I was a little worried they might try to tell me it was because of my Alta 2% crank pulley (r or some such BS), but they never said a word and replaced it under warranty.

I can't picture which bushing you guys are talking about failing, can you help me out? Here is a picture of the tensioner positioned as it would sit on the car, can you point out the part that is failing?

Thanks

I have this rattle coming from my tensioner after installing the M7 16% pulley.
It is bad when the car is cold and goes away after a few minutes at idle.
Did anyone figure out what bushing was discussed above?
