K&N Intake.
Exhaust - depends what you want - I have a Mymini Touring system. Nice sound ( not very loud ), and no drone at highway speeds.

If you had an MC I'd recommend the MyMini touring exhaust also, I love mine. Since you have an "S" though, if you'll post in the "S" forum you'll probably get better responses.

There is an exhaust referance thread in the S perfomance section, prices sound, video and pics, pic which ever you like.

CAI's if you don't mind noise I love my ALTA, you want something quieter go with a JCW or Dinian. If oyu want loud and cheap go witht he K&N HAI.

I love my Milltek sound-wise (FYI, I have a stock header and cat) on the inside of the car (I haven't heard it on the outside yet) and I definitely noticed "huge" butt dyno improvement.

I have the K&N Typhoon, which didn't do much for me on HP but gave me that SC whine just fine !

I got the K&N 'cause I'm in CA and that was the only CAI I could find at the time with a CARB sticker . I think most people who have gotten tha Alta like it. The Helix and the Webb are supposed to be good too, as far as reducing restriction and cooling the air charge -- with the resulting performance improvement. That "box" design with a big hole thru the bulkhead to draw air from the cowl area seems pretty much the "right" way to go. Webb is also working on another approach at this time that draws air fromthe hood scoop into the box.

I admit to bias but the DDM ddmworks.com is my choice for intakes and I like the Milltek exhaust..... not to loud but the car sounds like a "sports car"

I have had several exhausts and keep putting the Milltek back on

If cost is a concern:
One-Ball for the exhaust. Only cost you about $75.
Mod the stock intake yourself for about $35.

Cost not a concern.
Miltek or Borla Street for the exhaust.
DDM for the intake.

If you want a loud exhaust.
Magnaflow.

If the 'set' grew on trees, I'd get the header!

I recommend not getting the Alta exhaust - I have it and it has melted my rear valence, it has fitment issues and will cost you more money in the end.

For the Intake, it depends on if you like to hear the supercharger whine. If you simply cannot get enough of it, you need to go with an Alta, or if you have deeper pockets and a strong DIY streak, the m7 Air Gain system.

If you don't want the whine, the JCW or just replace your current paper pleated panel filter with a K&N or one of the many foam panel filters out there.

For exhaust, again, it depends what sound you're looking for. If you want loud, look-at-my-car sound, Borla or Magnaflow come to mind. If you want a deeper, more mature sound than stock, (while not being too much louder than stock), than the Milltek is recommended.

I have the Milltek and the Alta intake, and together, the two are like world-class opera singers, a soprano and a barritone, and they sing so wonderfully together! The noise is absolutely addicting!
