Drivetrain High Altitude tuning question-
High Altitude tuning question-
I live at 4500' and most of my driving is done between 4500' and 6000'. I am thinking about installing a 15% pulley and catback, and maybe an ECU tune down the road (I already have a JCW intake).
Question- Since I'm up so high, I can probably skip JCW injectors, right? With less air there is less need for fuel, so with the new mods I won't be taxing the stock injectors too much...? Is my thinking correct?
Thanks! Jim

There are lots of MINIs in Colorado and New Mexico, nearly all running over 5000'. The ECU seems to adjust the AF just fine (still runs rich!) all the way up to 11000' which is where MitM went a couple of months ago.
cheers,
