I can't wait to see what aftermarket power mods are developed for the next model! As the current model was designed as a SC solution the next gen is developed as a turbo solution. That's when I'm jumping to turbo after I find a 07 or earlier model in a junk yard in a couple of years as a true project car.

From reading all the tech on the '07, it doesn't look like it will be as easy to mod as the R53.

Good luck upping the fuel on a direct FI engine, they require a lot of psi. Not something a drop in wallabro 255 pump could do...

I'm sure the turbocharged '07 MCS will be much easier to tune for big horsepower than the supercharged current cars.

But no car in the world sounds like a modded MCS with a supercharger. That whine is very distinctive/addictive. To me, it sounds much better than some aftermarket blow-off valve on a turbocharged car.

I have no plans to "upgrade" to an '07 model. I love my whiner of a car, and that's that.

Now, shall we get back on topic?

no car does what modded MCS's do. They make people IN FRONT run away. Turbos don't. Loud exhausts don't. SC + intake = pedestrians running

Have you seen the setup on the '07 S?

I've been there and done that. I've had the PSE supercharger mod for 3 months, and to tell you the truth. I had it dynoed before and after. There was a difference in temperture of 8" but I lost 6HP if you can believe it, and i used the same dyno. I'm looking in to cam timing and injectors but I'm at a loss to know how i can loss HP.
