wire me

is there a wire at the under hood box that i can power my gauges with? one looks like it's got a key symbol. yes i'm lazy and yes i will look in the manual but this is easier. and the harness under the drivers' kick panel looks like a pita .

I would tie into the fuse box to the left og the drvers footwell. You can get a fuse extender with a spade terminal.

If you search in exterior / interior section there are threads on gauge installation with pictures.

This is where I taped in - next to the fuse panel there is a large bundle of wires and in those are two grey w/ pink stripe wires. One of those is the dash lights so taping that wire ties the gauge lights to your dash. others have taped in to the cigarrette lighter because it is tied in to the dash lights as well.

yeah thx i looked in the manual today and that bundle looks the best. i think f 40 is a keeper. still ... if the tach wiring is accessable up at the columb ,without looking like a bag of crap..... i'll check the threads someone's bound to have done something really nice. thx again .
