The airfilter looks smaller than the Madness intake.

Guess when you are the best everyone wants to copy you.

Ya, I agree, the filter element looks smaller and there's no mention of a cleaning/reoiling kit coming with the product.

I like the fact that someone has finally had the forethought to notch the airbox, should you desire a front strut brace. I wish others in the market would do this. I think the BMP and K&N intake are the only other intakes you can use with a front strut brace, and only because they don't use an airbox.

The filter element on this unit is significantl;y different form the quality unit on the Rogue/Madness unit. The Rogue is a dual cone with a velocity ram at the base.

I do like the notch as well, but it looks like you would still need to do some more fabrication to use the BMP stress bar (which is still my favorite with the stock strut towers).

The price is good - but MiniPilo's price is even lower! I'll keep you updated on that progress as well - but I think most of you saw the hp numbers from the last dyno day. Very similar to the Rogue using the Green Filter element, but at $145, it is a great buy. I can't wait to see the final production heat shield.

Lets us know on the Green filter kit. I think it is a steal for that price with the same results as the Madness intake.

Gotta love competition in the market place

I just wonder if anyone is making any money on MINI parts; how many MINIs have been sold in the US so far?
