GIAC year specific? YES

I installed a 15% pulley and the GIAC software about a year ago at MATRIX in Portland, OREGON. I made an appointment and took my car in, and they called me back in an hour to say that they had to get an UPDATED version for my 2005 MCS. They had done the flash on several Minis previously, but not a 2005 model.

You know what would be really awesome at the 07 Dragon - A DYNO (there are portable ones) .

Just imagine the number of Minis and the number of mods all in one place to be benched against one another on the same machine and weather!

Hmm I live in Colorado and with our thinner air wanted to go with a 17% pulley like most of our mile high people do but wanted the GIAC chip. Would I still need to replace the injectors or just run the 15% program with the 17% pulley?

Don't waste your money on these canned tunes. Get a custom tune when you can. The stock tune/ecu is capable of dealing with the smaller pulley w/o getting new injectors. You may need to upgrade the injectors with the dyno tune tho.

If you want GIAC, I would get the 15% pully flash if you have a 17% pully in Colorado. I get 14 -15 PSI boost Max at sea level with the 15%. I'm very happy with the GIAC 15% flash, but I don't plan on anymore mods.
