changed my tired slipping belt today ...took an hour (i'm old) . it's amazing what a good tight belt can do to these little rockets.

How can you tell when a belt is slipping? Can you feel it or do you just hear it squeeking?

used the napa that one of the guys on here was nice enough to give the part # for. slipping was just kinda obvious as i'd get an odor when getting on it . then there's the erratic kind of acceleration. and yes some pulley noise on occasion . 63000 miles is pretty good though. still the same brakes too and yes they're fine ....go figure ...all highway really.
