Crank Pulley on E-Bay

I saw a listing on e-bay for a stock sized alum crank pulley (1.4 lbs).anyone bought one? If so, feedback? I know they're cheap compared to the Alta's and Craven's and others, but are they really inferior pieces? Just wondering, looking to get a stock or 2% pulley to go with the 15% SC pulley i've got now.Would appreciate some input.

If it's all aluminum it's crap. If the center is steel then it should be better.
A link might help.

There are a lot of good products on EBAY, trust me I love EBAY....however...

Becareful when buying from EBAY. Not only are there a lot of homemade products on there, but even some of the "namebrand" items are fake. There is a rash of phony Tein S tech springs running wild on EBAY. I can usually spot things worth buying off there. When you see these so called chips for cars, stay way. A lot of the tail lights however are nice and are great deals. The rear stress bar I have came from EBAY, and it was great. Would I buy a rear sway bar that didn't have a name brand on it from Ebay? Nope !! You just have to becareful. As for the pulley. This is where "What you pay for, is what you get." comes into mind. Something like this, I would buy the namebrand one. This si your engine you're talking about. Do you really want that pulley cracking and possibly causing you catastrophic engine damage? Just becareful.

Just spend the money and get a properly designed, tested, and proven product. Don't cut yourself short, especially because it's your engine like badMINI said.

Why take the chance over a couple of dollars?
