Drivetrain Search function How-to
This one is to help everyone take full advantage of all of the information out there on the site.

At the top of each forum, you will see small yellow font words starting with New Topic. Next to that is a search. Click on the word Search. It will open a small menu. Use the keyword you are interested in - for example, ECU. It helps to also pick a forum - for example, Performance Modifications. You can then choose to see posts by a particular member (like me  ), or all relevant posts. You can also choose to sort by date, topic, etc. Choose to search for the title of the thread, or all of the words in the thread.

After using it the first time, if you get too much info, you can narrow the search.
I hope that helps!
Let me know if you have any questions.

Are you using the small yellow font search? I just did the same and pulled up a gazillion threads. Use the search, type how-to, select the Performance Modifications forum and hit the button. Try it again and let me know if it isn't working for you.

The key thing, which will never make sense until the site is changed, is that in order to search the forums, which is where 99%+ of info on this site is located, you have to avoid the big prominent text box and the big silver SEARCH button (which searches only the handful of press articles and product reviews on the front page), and instead click on the smaller, harder-to-find, small-font word "search." I really think that the vast majority of intended searches are never carried out for this reason.
