A guy in my shop has this card on his Miata and said it made a HUGE difference....Was wondering if anyone was using it, and if so, what they thought about it....Found the link on Mossmini but never heard about this product before....Seems very easy to use when he showed it to me and for the price, it doesnt look to bad.

From the looks of it the TC2 won't work on the MCS, but the Pro looks promising...Anyone seen it in use?

Wow, for the price, it looks great. More info from your Miata guy might help. This is the first time I've seen or heard of PowerCard. Nice find

Since we develop parts for the Miata world also, I figured I could give you guys a little info on the powercard. A lot of the Miata kits have been using this or very similar set-ups for fueling when adding a supercharger or turbo to Miata's. The regular powercard is a very simple device in how it works. It has a built in MAP sensor that extends the pulse width of the injector based upon the amount of pressure that it reads. For a given fuel pressure, the longer the pulse width, the more fuel that gets injected. This works very good until you run out of injector, which is a lot easier to do with Miata's then MINI's since the biggest injectors in the Miata's are 230's compared to the stock MINI 340's injectors. When we first started working on the DDM M62 project we had a device similar to the powercard made by BR Performance called the "ELF" ready to go if we needed it, but found out that we did not. The ELF works on the same principle as the powercard, but has some user adjustability built into it. Another thing with the Miata's is that you can not re-flash the factory ECU (pre 2006) so the only option we have is to add piggyback controllers like this.

I have heard the new powercard pro will have a lot more adjustability and have heard that it can do some really neat things, but until I actually see one, I will wait to comment.

And, a big thank you.....Sounds like a great product. Are you saying the ProCard is the piece for the SC cars?

If you look at their site you will see no MINI application and the same card that was coming soon in 2006 is still coming soon.

I'd consider this a dead end.

Agreed this seems like a lot of other systems out there, not very practical for the MINI because the cars are so smart, they know when they are being tricked and will compensate. Custom remap or go home, folks!
