I agree with that shot it is misleading but I see that car about every other day LOL. Its the way the shodows are showing, they look like slits when they really are the back sides of the hump so to speak.

I ordered a set of these louvers and told him to put it on your account . The logic being that I'm happy with my car until you do one of your project posts and since you are the source of my unhappiness - you should pick up the tab. Randy was laughing hysterically and said he would help me yank your chain but alas Randy dropped the ball.

On a serious note since you have spent time "placing" these suckers can you drop me a pm with some approximate measurements on more or less where they should go.

My account? That would be tough as I work for parts

I'm going to make a template when I'm done...sometime next week when my bandsaw shows up, I should have it installed...temporarily without paint...

And what's this about me being the "source of your unhappiness"?

Because your MINI looks just too dam good.

The only MOD I might have over you is my lap dance MOD BUT then again you might already have it and just aren't sharing .

PS - I love the fact you don't have wipers on the car! Talk about throwing salt on a wound.

I look forward to template (no beers while measuring!)

Can't mod and not be under influence...brings confidence level up...you'd be shocked at the thoughts that cross my mind while working on the Mini

I'd love to do the lap dance mod but our local club is very straight...the hardest stuff they do is Star Bucks:impatient

Can you say ...........ROAD TRIP ..................... DarkMini & I have this MOD down pat but its a real ***** driving around with the pole sticking out of the sunroof . Hard to hide from the wife too, I keep telling her its a satelite radio antenna . SO get Peter to FUND and you can help design the the M7 telescoping pole w/ or without thermal coating (help manage the friction heat build up).

How embarrassing! I should know the guys name that I give my credit card number too!

It's great that it shipped but it also sucks because I will leave for the Bahamas Sunday night so that means it will arrive Monday and the box will sit until I fly back on Thursday night so install will have to wait until Friday. Oh well thats the story of my life it always arrives on a MONDAY

Oh, by the way, MSFITOY, I LOVE YOUR CAR! The louvers are a nice touch, and I think going with the rivets is perfect for your look. I am going to keep checking in to see how you feel about them after you have run them for a little while, I may look into doing some pure silver ones on mine, hidden in the V-stripe of course. :-)
