I have the MTH Tuner firmware in my ECU which raises the rev limit on the engine above the factory 6750 RPM. My problem is that while the engine is indeed willing the automatic forces an upshift at 6750.

This occurs regardless of which of the three modes the transmission is in (normal, sport or the misnamed "manual" mode).

Is there a company out there that offers firmware that changes the forced upshift point?

 

If anyone can, MTH should be able to do that for you too ...

 

One would certainly think so, but they've not replied to my posts or emails.
