Yesterday I installed a new Alta Short Shifter. It took about 3 hours to put it in but I love it. It is great that all the shift points are so much closer now. I did leave the shift box cover off so that I could get the shortest throw. I also had to remove the shifter box to get the cover off. Here is some picture of the install.
