Some of you may have seen my 0-100mph & trackday video, well my next outing is a Qtr mile run at Santa Pod drag strip in the uk the 6th of April
I have the Hartge Conversion at the moment however my car goes into AmD in the uk on the 2nd of April for a Milltek exhaust & header and some H&R lowering springs. They intend to Dyno the car before and after I they reakon I should see 225/230hp at the flywheel and over 190lb/ft torque.
What times have you posted in the 1/4 mile and what helped to get you off the line. Revs / tyre pressures etc ?
I have standard 17" wheels and Toyo T1-s Tyres 215x40x17. I want to keep the wheels and dont want to change them to lighter ones.
I will post the 1/4 mile vid after the event.

The best I've run is a 15 5 This is with an intake, and light weight wheels 16x6.5 (14lbs) and with falken azenis tires at about 23 PSI. My biggest problem is that it has been cold out. so anylaunches above 3000 rpm will lead to wheel spin. I did lower the pressure to about 20 psi and got a better start, but time was slower because no time in between runs. I would say get a good burn out done before you go and then just go at it.
Good Luck
