No it's not & niether is the price, although, IMHO, it IS the best bar out there for now
I got a friend here in the bay has his bar on the stiffest setting and wants a stiffer bar.

I would definately recommend doing a 1 ball exhaust plus the OBX header instead of a expensive exhaust. On top of that I would do the pulley and intake, and find a used rear swaybar. Make sure that you do an ECU upgrade, if not with all of this, later.

Well, if you're going to be tracking the car then you might want to upgrade everything more or less evenly. I'd do your choice of intake ($200), 15% pulley ($300 installed), giac ($325), upgraded brake pads ($150?), rear sway bar ($300 installed).. That's roughly $1,275, that's just my opinion, I'm a student on a budget as well but did not have the track in mind (see my sigs for my route). If I had to do it over again, I'd do what I just suggested. BTW, when are you going to Homestead and how much does it cost? I'd love to run at homestead, even with the 19%er on, hehe . . .

ok buddy boy lots of people have said which mods to get, and most of them are right. You're a student with a MCS. I'm a student with a MCS, and i've modded mine as well, on a budget, like you. However i did all the installs myself, i wouldn't advise that you do the same unless you know what you're doing

1) Pulley (you choose which one) $400 installed
2) CAI $250
3) MTH/GIAC remap $300
4) rear swaybar $200
5) Oneball. $50
6) Denso IK22's $50
7) Springs (whatever they cost)

You're car will be a little rocket, for relatively very little money. Just get someone to do the installs for you, and i swear you'll kick yourself for not doing the mods earlier

He needs the VIAGRA bar. The softest setting on the bar starts at 11.

"Spinal Tap" 1984, a spoff movie made durring the "Heavy Metal" British band years. Lead guitar used Marshal amps for the most part. Christofer Guest, 1 of the producers, picked up on the volume control, 11 not 10...

Fender = 10 highest volume
Marshall = 11

I guess, this must be a younger crowd.... Tuff house for this kind of stuff

thi is what I would do...

1) 15% pulley - for power
2) sway bar - for handling
3) exhaust - adds some power and gives the car a very cool sound which I love to hear....really adds to my motoring experience
4) look for a used Alta as people are changing to HDI and AGS ( the Alta is still very good but I would not buy new

I've seen it mentioned a few times above, but I'll throw in my 2 cents...

Before you do any go-fast modifications, you should do control modifications...

To me, this would mean these first
Brake pads and fresh fluid - ($200 if you do it yourself - fairly easy - Add $200 for install)
Rear Sway ($200 if you do it yourself, add $100 for an install)

Then I'd think about
CAI ($200 - you should be able to do the install yourself)
Pulley ($300 installed - )
MTH Remap ($300)

Personally, I'm a big fan of the factory warranty. I'm on the conservative side of things in that respect, so I'm trying hard to keep my fingers out of the engine bay until that runs it's course. After that, all bets are off! For now, I'm making due with cosmetic mods, an Alta drop-in filter, and the first few control mods listed above.
