Ouch! Looks like a melt down to me... Lean baby lean.... Rich would keep the temps in check... less power but safe running rich....

Yup, the next granade was ready to go back in on the Tuesday but unfortunatley the clutch wouldn't last another 60 passes so new pads are being fitted to 4 paddle plate and the stock cover is being uprated to take the 5000rpm launches.

The fuel jet had blocked because a slither of rubber had worked its way into the fuel solenoid, just shows you should always check your system after using it .

We're now recording A/F on each run on the laptop so we should be able to keep an eye on it now.

If you put all our best increments togeather it would run 12.01 so the potential is there to run an 11

No I went from the fuel pressure valve on the end of the fuel rail to the solenoid in - 6, the slither must be from where I cut it and I flushed it a couple of times .
