MyMini Cooper S ColdAir Filter Kit #3

First off I want to thank Peter at Myminiparts.com for giving me one of his new Cooper S ColdAir Filter Kit #3s. The install was a snap. It only took a few minutes to replace the factory intake. It uses an ITG foam air filter. I have run foam in the past on my Mitz 3000GT VR4 and my Scion xB both with turbos and a supercharger. I have posted a picture below of the intake. I will be up at the Dragon Thursday morning if anybody would like to see it of hear it. The retail price runs close to what the other filter only setups run. I took the Coop out for a spin after the install. Theres that sweet intake and supercharger noise I was use to having in my old Scion xB with a Power Enterprise supercharger on it. I plan on hitting on of our local dynos when I get back from doing some twisties up at the Dragon. All in all the intake goes along great with my Helix 15% Pulley and Milltek header and full exhaust. I would highly recomend the intake.

Well, I had a CAI with no heat shield. I just thought that more airflow would be better than less, even if it is colder. I switched to a HAI mounted directly to the TB, but if I go back, I might try that heat shield.
