Full Aftermarket Exhaust or Just Cat Back?

I am about to take the plunge and purchase an exhaust for my new MCS. My question has to do with actual user impressions of just going cat back or doing the whole deal with header, high flow cat and all the way back to the tail pipe. Any thoughts from people who started cat back and added a header will be appreciated.

I am going to get a UUC cat back and if I go a header either the Alta or Madness.

Thanks in advance.

I think "most" ppl just do cat back. You will not receive the full benefit of the headers with doing the head first. Do a search and you will find several threads on that subject (of course, that doesnt stop ppl from adding the headers but some were disappointed with the results).

I have the Supersprint exhaust which is nice, and then added the OBX header (stock cat) and was happy with the result, especially for the price (less than $200 shipped). The much needed mid range torque added was great. I highly recommend that if you go this route that you finish it off with an ECU upgrade. I went with MTH and it really smoothed everything out, acceleration seems really even throughout.
