Intake/wastegate question

Ok so i been asking around for my 05 MCS and with my friends mazda speed he put an intake in it and nothing else and it caused a flutter sound, (we use to call it a turkey gobble) I been lookin around for sound clips of intakes but cant find any for a MCS. If that wouldnt work is there any way of putting a wastgate on and causing that?

his car has a turbo, so his wastegate/blowoff valve will make those types of noises. I don't believe that is possible on a MCS since its a roots based supercharger
