You get what you pay for with cats in my experience... Magnaflow's last less than a year in my experience, even less if you do any track or autocrossing.
I have read the same things online in 4x4 forums. Not everyone but many people have had bad experiences with Magnaflow cats. I need a cat for my Toyota Tacoma and I'm hesitating on getting a magnaflow just because of all the people I have read of having bad luck with them.
