Hi guyz, now i encounter leak oil from power steering... anyone has that problem b4?????? I quite worry now....

yeah still under warranty but i just want to find out whether other people have this problem b4? the leaking amount is not a lot but i still worry... anyone can help me out ?

 

You're probably a long way from the nearest dealer, but that will be your only solution unless it's simply a loose hose. Anything else (like leaking seals) will require dealer attention.

 

Did you mean the leakage on the black container around the cap?

 

er... i went to my mechanic for my tired rotation and he found out that there is oil leaking from power steering and he did show me. i just want to ask whether anyone has that problem b4...

There's no leaking seals but never mind i booked next friday for check up.... hopefully is alright... anyway ... thanks guyz !!

 

hi guyz, i just went to my service on the oil leaking from the power steering.. Basically, that guy who fixed for me in BMW told me that the pipe to the oil pump losen and it leaked from there...

Surprisingly, that guy change everything for me .. i very satisfied ...

that's my update to u guys. ...

 

Its a product of BMW... I don't think I have ever seen a BMW that doesn't have a power steering leak. I am actually very suprised that more MINI's do not.
