It's basically a lightweight muffler using a "disc" technology that allows you to tune the muffler for your application by adding more or fewer discs. it can sound aggressive - and some people think it's "butt ugly"

lbboarderh2o,
Yes it is only $150.00, and it weighs in a lot less than anything else out there, around 15lbs. It completely replaces the current exhaust where it Y's prior to the stock mufflers.
Yes it increases HP. It would appear based on David's and Brian Garfield's dyno testing it increases horsepower the most of the current systems out there. And it is tuneable for power, where it is delivered "mid-range or top end" and tuneable for loudness.
It has a medium tone, not a deep throaty tone, but not a buzzy high pitch tone either. Some have said it sounds like a British sports car. Perfect.
If you want to see an install click on my pics in this post or you can look at Brian Garfield's install here,Brian Garfield's install photos
I will agree with most that the Supertrapp is not very pretty. But I wouldn't call it "butt ugly" either. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, besides all things equal, if they don't have a Supertrapp, THEY are going to be the one's having to look at it.
Hope this helps.
John

I have actuall yput supertrapp exhausts on several vehicles. If you want a center outlet just get the $50-80 end caps and run a mid sinlencer on one side of the battery box of the other.
