Hey guys i did the one ball to my car and the rattling is starting to bother me. If i was to purchase a quciksilver exhaust which only hase on muffler, kinda llike the oneball, will i still have a lot of rattling. also what modifications are needed to get an 02-04 fit an 05 car? Thanks ahead of time.

 

Take a peak under the car, and look at the heat shields. They bend pretty easily, and it's probably the case that one was inadvertantly "modified" by the guys or gals who did the one-ball for you.

Also, if this is the case, it will rattle with any exhaust....

I had a rattle after I did the one-ball, and as Dr. Obnxs states, it was part of the heat shield. Bent it out of the way by hand and all is well.

 

I have the rattling as well!! It rattles at about 2000 rpm when I apply a slight tab on the pedal. I checked the heat shield, nothing get close to the muffler and pipe.. could it be the rubber(bushing) at the hanger?

Even if I shake the exhaust sideways(left and right) , it doesnt not hit anything. What could it be? I really want to get rid of this annoying vibration...

 

Check to make sure that one part of it isn't rattling against another part of it, or the bodyshell. There are places up by the motor/exhaust manifold, along the exhaust tunnel, and around the mufflers. Get the car up on jackstands, and see if someone can locate the sound while it happens. Using a piece of rubber hose like a stethescope can help.

Ill try check the hanger; which bolted to the body. It might got loose and cause the vibration since it sounded like a hard/thick metal vibrating, nothing close heat shield
