Any conductance path will have resistance to flow. If the stock TB is one of the larger contributors, getting an worked over one will help. If it's not, then it won't.
On my car, larger TBs didn't give me anything extra.

wouldnt t/b only be worthwhile if ur going the full monty?
i mean a bigger t/b (increased airflow etc) would still suffer the same 'bottlenecks' as a stock t/b unless u had ported/polished/ the s/c headwork etc?
fair enuf jsut switching the t/b and nothing else might give u some gains but hwo much are we talking here? 2-5hp? for how much $$???
