I have received a call from my dealership here in Salt Lake City, and I have finally got my production date.
It is on April 27th, wich is a bonus cause that is my birthday....Woohoo!
The only birthday gift that would be better is if I took delivery, but this will most certainly do.

 

Right on! Me too. Nearly five ,months after putting down my deposit, I finally got an email yesterday from MINI USA with my production number. I logged into the Owners' Lounge with it and learned my MC is to be built on April 4, 2003... and all the specs and options seem to have been relayed directly by the dealer.

The dealer and I traded emails today -- me asking them if we had to do any transacting right now, and them writing back to say, no, don't worry, everything's cool at the moment... so I have four weeks' wait until Nigel is built.

I have been back to the Owners' Lounge three times in 24 hours to see if anything's changed... not too eager. :smile:

 

Not to eager? I no what you mean, I've been back to the dealer almost twice a week since giving my deposit, just looking at colours and interior options. I have finally settled on an all black S with lapis blue leather. I guess I have until the 27th of April to change my mind...again

I don't think you can move it, but a moderator can if they see it. I did "apply" for moderation duties way back but no one ever replied to my requests....Hmmm.....
