^^ agreed most part, the Magnaflow is really good quality, i had a custom system with the Magnaflow parts prior to my Invidia. Unfortunately at the time, and if i am not mistaking up until now, the Magnaflow catback was not available for 05-06 cars, needed modifications, so did the Invidia. I saw the Invidia at a show, and believe it or not looked prettier and beteer engineered over Magnaflow. On the otherside Magnaflow is louder than Invidia. Performance gains, you made a correct statement, so nothing to add on my end. Finally, guess what system i have on my truck?

Well I guess it comes to how it will last hanging under your car. Also one small thing I consider when buying things is how well respected the part is in the market for resale.

Magnaflow= For trucks or big V8s

Seriously, if you are comfortable with Magnaflow, get it, you will not see as many Invidias as Magnaflows, never.

i have a magnaflow with a madness header. Still not loud enough for me. Maybe i should take off a muffler or something. The magnaflow is only loud when ya want it to be. When your traveling, just put the car in 6th, you'll be fine.

Where'd you come up with that saifa? (measuring farts in HP?) Is this measure an expression of the energy (combustible gas) portion or some calculation measuring "boost" in PSI, then 'converted' to HP?

As a further endorsment for Magnaflow I've got to hand it to them on the service/warranty end of things.

When Magnalfow first sold the Cooper S system it came with a flat-ended canister-like resonator. These units had a tendancy to fail (internal welds came loose) & rattled. When it came time to warranty mine they offered to replace it with an identical unit, but were honest enough to admit that it would likely fail too. They then informed me that they'd have a different part to replace it with, if I were willing to wait. I was in shock! A company willing to admit a problem and offer a REAL solution, instead of another headache (down the road).

A month or so later Magnaflow sent me a new & quite different looking resonator. It incorporated tapered transitions into and out of the resonator - an improvement over the original in a number of ways. Magnaflow paid shipping to and from my place - Cali to Ohio & back (picked up old resonator).

Compared to other warranty claims I've had to place this was painless!

Problems do crop up, even in good companies... how they are remedied makes a huge difference in satisfaction. Magnaflow 'get it' and are about long-term customer satisfaction.

I would consider another Magnaflow system before any other (save Webb) and would reccomend Magnaflow highly to anyone.

If your in Canada talk to Jay at coopersport.ca. His price on the Magnaflow is actual pretty competitive and the fact that he's a Canuck you won't have to worry about brokerage, duties and all that lovely stuff.

Having had stock, Borla Race, JCW , and now an Invidia I feel safe in saying that I like the tone of the Borla the best! I also feel as though the Borla made the most power in MY car. The Invidia has a sweet tone and great build quality but the Borla is calling me back. My Invidia will be for sale as soon as I find a Borla Race in good shape. As far as Magnaflow goes..... I wouldn't compare the sound to either the Borla or Invida. Magnaflow is just that much louder to me. Hope that helps.

i have the invidia. it really is well put together and the welds are nice. tried hanging it on the wall in the living room but the wife didn't go for it.

in any event, for what it's worth, when i took it to a shop to have it installed they quoted me one rate, and then halfed it when i picked the car up. they said it was the easiest aftermarket exhaust install they had done.

my car is an 04, and definitely burbles a lot more. i think it's a good choice. magnaflow is too loud for me, and i don't dig the trumpet tips...

Thanks! Outmotoring is by far the cheapest at $626. Webb is charging $720! Are they selling the same thing? That's almost $100 more!!!

Go with Invidia. Quality, sound and installation time are the best out of the whole bunch. Magnaflow is definitely TOO loud for me.

Many out here have been using the magnaflow but cutting off those " trumpets " and going with a more traditioanl tip. The magnaflow resonator has a habit of going bad but the company has stood behind their product and replaced them as necessary.
