19% Pulley owners only.

What is your experience w/ it?
What else did you do so you could have a 19%?
What maintainance is done periodically for it?

My experience with it has been great, nice boost in power, pulls strong a lot earlier than without it, that's for sure.

The only thing I did when I put it on was install the IK22's and the new belt.

The only maintainance that I have had to do is change the belt (2X in 40K miles, but only due to squeal, it has never broken on me)

I also have had no problems, and I love the performance it gives. I have done mods to the car, but not because of the pulley. I did add a H2O to air intercooler, and it definitely runs cool. I could run the car in a 90 degree day for an hour, and open the hood and lay my face on the exit side of the intercooler, and cool to the touch. My belt is wearing just fine.

had 19 pulley for 2 1/2 yrs installed by Helix - first year with Miltek header & exhaust, ik-22 plugs and CAI, after year opted to also add JCW injectors & GIAC software. Have changed belts every 6-10K miles as i run on track at least monthly. I keep an eye on the belt and when i can't see any holes in tensioner i replace belt with the 060535 NAPA belt that eric originally installed. I've had no issues at all with 19 and it runs well.
Occasionally i get SES light when on track -forget code it says intake pressure high- clears itself after 3 starts or so off track.
I'd purchase the tensioner tool so i could change my own belts- its real easy after 1st time- perhaps half hour start to finish. Others here started with 15 then went to 19. No issue with any 19 pulley that i'm aware of in Hawaii.

I've had both 15% and 19% on my MCS. The 19% gives about 3wHP across the board for dyno numbers versus the 15%, but it also heat soaks the intercooler quicker during track days and on the Dragon, pulling lots of ignition sooner in the session than the 15%. The 19% also chews up belts; Napa and Goodyear Gatorbacks [both mid-53" lengths] have to be changed every 8k-ish miles due to stretch, and even then I've broken two belt tensioners along the way. That said, around town the 19%'s slightly greater torque is a plus.

That's my experience.

I've had my 19% pulley installed for about 2 months now (~2,000 miles). I love it for around town driving. Only other mods are an intake, one-ball, and ik22's. However, the only mod i did for the 19% pulley was the ik22's.
